Sporting fun in East Ham park on Super Saturday

Newham residents will get another chance to see the Olympic Torch at Central Park in East Ham during Super Saturday.

StreetGames, the charity that provides sport to young people in disadvantages areas, will provide a selection of sporting opportunities for people to experience from 11am until 7pm on August 4. StreetGames’ Squirrel ‘Sammy’ will be there to say hello and Norman Turner will be bringing along his Olympic Torch at 2.30pm.

Norman Turner, StreetGames’ Chair of the Board has been heavily involved in the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games.
