London girl Pippa Middleton has beaten her royal sister Kate to be chosen as the nation’s fantasy pantomime Snow White.
Pippa tied for first place with Harry Potter star Emma Watson after both received 14 per cent of the vote in a survey of the UK’s dream pantomime stars.
The Duchess of Cambridge trailed just behind with 13 per cent.
In the poll of 2,024 adults by YouGov, Kate’s husband William was a top choice to be Prince Charming.
The Duke of Cambridge shared top spot in the survey with Peter Andre as both took 13 per cent of the vote.
William’s younger brother Prince Harry was third place on 12 per cent.
There was no doubt in the nation’s mind about who was the ultimate panto villain with Simon Cowell taking more than a quarter (27 per cent) of the vote.
He was followed by glamour model Katie Price (15 per cent), Ryan Giggs (15 per cent), Ashley Cole (14 per cent) and Tiger Woods (10 per cent).
Cheryl Cole (11 per cent), Lady Gaga (seven per cent) and X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos (five per cent) were the other contenders for fantasy Snow White while Gary Barlow (11 per cent) and Strictly Come Dancing’s Brendan Cole (six per cent) were other possible princes.
