The 62-year-old was a special guest at the London Palladium in the Coming Home charity concert for injured servicemen, lat night (Monday).

Gibb was given a standing ovation alongside Forces group; The Soldiers - with whom he recorded a Remembrance Day single last year.

Gibb was treated for colon and liver cancer - forcing him to vanish from the public eye, last year

But he was back to fine form last night, on classics How deep is your love and also Message.

Gibb said he had amazed doctors with his recovery.

“The prognosis is that it’s almost gone and I feel fantastic,” he said.
