Exploding in joyous and colourful fiesta glory London’s second biggest festival, Carnaval del Pueblo, is coming to the brand new London Pleasure Gardens at the Royal Docks.

With 19 Latin American countries represented, three stages and two tents, the 11 hours of festive fun is billed as the largest celebration of its kind in Europe.

Carnaval Del Pueblo, now in its 14th year, promises to be one of the most vibrant and family-friendly festivals in the capital when it sets up in the Docklands setting on August 18.

It is a celebration of their South American roots for expat communities in the capital, and a massive party for Londoners

Special Guests include Fulanito (Dominican Republic) - Merengue ,Reggaeton and Bachata star; Tato Marenco - Salsa and Cumbia star (Colombia); Oi Brazil - the best Samba and Capoeria shows and many more bands

Inspired by the vibrant costumes and dances from the famous carnivals of Rio de Janeiro, Colombia, Mexico, Cuba, Bolivia, Ecuador and more, Carnaval Del Pueblo features latin music, dancing and live culture in all its spectacular and technicolour glory.

Revellers can enjoy regionally themed food, drink, live music and dance late into the night

Artists on the Main Stage this year include Fulanito (Dominican Republic), known around the world for his Merengue,Reggaeton and bachata hits with over two million albums sold worldwide andhas been Grammy nominated,

Tato Marenco Band brings the rhythms and dance of the Atlantic coast of Colombia including Salsa, Cumbia and Mapale to CdP.

and heading up the Brasilian Stage, is OI Brasil, one of Europe’s finest Brazilian entertainment group showcasing Samba and capoeira, and they will be joined by the Mestizo Folklore Group (Mexican dance group) bringing traditional Mexican music, Mariachis and dance.

Promised is a mesmerising feast of food and crafts stalls and activities for children with an After Party to boot.

And it is alltotally freee, courtesy of the Mayor of London funding.
