American author Attica Locke will be in Stratford tomorrow to talk about her career and her new book, The Cutting Season.
The thriller writer, whose first book Black Water Rising was shortlisted for the Orange Prize, will be taking part in a Q&A at the Stratford Picturehouse in Salway Road.
She is also a screenwriter who has written for Paramount, Warner Bros, Disney, Twentieth Century Fox, Jerry Bruckheimer Films, HBO, DreamWorks and Silver Pictures. She was a fellow at the Sundance Institute’s Feature Filmmakers Lab and is a graduate of Northwestern University. A native of Houston, Texas, Attica lives in Los Angeles, with her husband and daughter.
The Cutting Season will be published on September 13 priced £14.99 hardback.
Attica will be at the Stratford Picturehouse on Thursday at 7.00pm, to talk about her writing career and The Cutting Season. She will also be signing copies of her book which will be available to buy at the venue.
