The ‘Collective East’ exhibition will be open to the public from Friday until Monday.

Exhibits include a collection of scarves, liquid latex rubber, while student Hariza Zambri will explore the ‘lesbian gaze’ and how women look at each other emotionally and erotically.

Programme leader Lucy Jones said: “The show presents the culmination of the students individual efforts and we applaud their achievements and success.”

The show also includes cast concrete pieces, wall drawings, installation and prints.

Peter Cobb, field leader for Fine Art at UEL, added: “Through the summer of 2012 the MA students have responded to the opportunity of working in the extended studio space available.

“They have developed work in a wide range of media, including painting, film, video, sculpture and installation.”
