England and Essex batsman Alastair Cook will be available for the final two Specsavers County Championship matches of the 2017 season, it has been announced.

It has become one of the most eagerly anticipated days on the club cricket calendar and this Sunday sees the 20th anniversary of Upminster’s first-ever benefit match against an Essex XI.
