Redbridge Ladies under-15s came back victorious from the Watford Ladies tournament on Sunday.

The team (pictured left), successfully negotiated their way through the first five rounds and went on to be crowned winners

The games were two five-minute halves and at the end of the final against Ruislip neither side could be separated.

Even the first half of extra-time couldn’t bring about a goal, but with the clock ticking down Hannah Mortimer managed to score the elusive goal which won them the match and the tournament.

The trophies were handed out by Arsenal and England players Kelly Smith and Alex Scott.

This tournament win comes fresh on the heels of the ladies being crowned League champions after a 4-0 play-off victory over Hutton.

Redbridge Ladies: Sanderson, H Mortimer, J Mortimer, Marsden, Sandell, Sheret, Appleby, Taylor.
