But Harlow made sure of the points in the last minute as George Smith netted their third.
Redbridge will now look to open their account when they travel to Heybridge on Tuesday.

Essex Senior League
Ilford 3 Waltham Forest 2
Allan Fenn’s Foxes got a new era underway with success over league new boys Forest at Cricklefield Stadium.
Osei, Chris Stevens and Lockwood, from the penalty spot, all netted for the hosts as they claimed the points from a five-goal thriller against a visiting side relegated from Ryman One North last term.
And Fenn’s men will look to build on their opening-day triumph when they visit Basildon on Wednesday.
