Steve Parish expects Wilfried Zaha to remain at the Eagles
Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has insisted that he has no plans to sell star man Wilfried Zaha.
The 19-year-old forward has been linked with Newcastle, Liverpool, Reading, Sunderland and West Ham but has another four years to run on his contract.
“We have no plans to sell Wilf,” Parish told talkSPORT. “That’s not the manager’s plans.
“If a side made a sizable offer we’d find it hard to refuse.
“I think that’s true of every club, maybe not Man City, but they might look at the contract situation.
“Wilf has four years left on his deal. We’ve been trying to bring him into the game and he’s been playing on the right.
“We played him up front against West Ham and Reading. We think there is more to come. We’d prefer that bid didn’t come in.
“He’s part of our plans for next year. I’m not sure that anybody is quite ready to go where we want.
“We turned down £5million from Bolton in January.”
