League Two: Burton Albion 1 Barnet 0
Barnet’s two-game winning run came to an end at the Pirelli Stadium as Jacques Maghoma’s fourth minute did the damage.
It was a closely contested game against play-off contenders Burton Albion who started well.
Billy Kee squandered a good chance before Barry Fuller hauled down Maghoma and the Brewers man converted from 12 yards.
Ibra Sekajja had the best chances for the Bees but he missed from close range while Albion’s Calvin Zola fired wide and was denied by Graham Stack, but despite the visitng keeper’s efforts his side couldn’t find an equaliser.
The Bees are now one point above the drop zone but have played two more games than bottom two AFC Wimbledon and Bristol Rovers who they travel to face on Friday.
