Former Chelsea man explains why he snubbed Arsenal and Liverpool to join Lille

Transfer news: Salomon Kalou is excited by the project at the French club and also believes he will have fun there
Former Chelsea star Salomon Kalou has revealed why he decided to sign for Lille.
The Ivory Coast international had been linked with a move to Arsenal and Liverpool but decided to ply his trade in France.
“I spoke with Rudi Garcia about this project last season,” Kalou said.
“I was really impressed by the project of Lille.
“This is a great club that has built a new stadium and has a great coach.”
The former Chelsea man made enjoyment his first priority and thinks that he has made the right decision.
“The most important thing is to have fun and I think at Lille, I will have a lot of fun”, Kalou added.
