Dagenham & Redbridge manager John Still hopes his side can use 2-1 win over as a starting point for another good run.
Daggers boss John Still hopes the 2-1 win over Rochdale can be the start of another good run.
In front of 2,289, the Victoria Road hosts left it late to secure another three points when Medy Elito popped up three minutes into stoppage time for his third goal of the season.
“I thought we were the better side overall and we’ve come away with the rewards,” said Still.
“We managed to get round the back of their defence on a number of occasions and we’ve been a real threat.
““I was delighted for Medy too. He works so hard in training and he’s picked up a great reward.”
And despite a poor festive period – where Daggers failed to win in three attempts – two wins in three games have led to them moving up to 13th in the League Two table.
Now, Still believes it can be the start of another run, having previously seen his side win five games from seven before Christmas.
“It’s a great result for us and one which will give everyone around the place a lift,” he added.
“This result can definitely been seen as another platform for us to build on.
“This is always a tough period of the season and we’ll undoubtedly need a few more performances like this between now and the end of it.
