On a busy day of activity striker Josh Scott moved on loan to Blue Square Bet Premier side Ebbsfleet United for a month and the 27-year-old hopes he can come back ready to challenge for a regular starting spot.

“It’s just about getting game time,” said Scott. “I met all the Ebbsfleet players yesterday at training and they are a nice bunch.

“There is a bit of Daggers connection there with Phil Walsh and Ram Marwa there so I know a few faces. The gaffer seems nice as well so hopefully I can enjoy my time on loan.”

The deal allows the striker to go straight into the Fleet team for tomorrow’s televised clash with Macclesfield Town at Stonebridge Road if boss Liam Daish wishes.

“The deal allows me to play tomorrow night so hopefully I can start it of with a solid contribution and a win,” added the former Hayes & Yeading man.
