The form of Dagenham & Redbridge loanee Bradley Goldberg at Conference South outfit Bromley has caught the attentions of Football League clubs.

But an agreement between Daggers and the non-league club could see him stay out on loan until the end of the season.

Goldberg, brought in on a one-year deal at Victoria Road, was subsequently loaned to the Whites until May.

And his stay at Hayes Lane has proved a fruitful one, with the striker currently the league’s top goalscorer with 15 to his name.

A return is possible under the terms of his youth loan, but a “promise” made to Bromley at the start of the season by Daggers could prevent the Victoria Road club bringing him back from his temporary stay in Kent.

“We made a promise to Bromley that they would have him for the season,” said Burnett. “We’ve allowed him out for that time, and he is certainly been
doing well so far, but we will continue to monitor his progress.”

Bromley currently sit at the top of the Conference South table, and have a lead of 11 points over Eastleigh, who do have two games in hand.

But if their situation did change, and the Whites were to fall out of promotion contention then Burnett could call him back.

“I have spoke to Bradley and if they aren’t going to be in the hunt for promotion, and I hope they are, then we’d maybe consider calling him back,” he added.

“But at the moment we have put an agreement in place that enables him to stay at Bromley and while they are doing well I feel it is only right that he stays there.”

Goldberg only has a contract with the Daggers until the end of the season, and while Burnett still feels it’s early days, he’s yet to decide whether to issue him with a contract extension.

“There is a possibility of extending his contract,” said Burnett. “I haven’t sat down with Bradley to discuss it but it’s still only early days and we are only half way through the season. He’s a goalscorer and it is evident when you look at his record this season. Would we be looking to extend it? Maybe.”
