Dagenham & Redbridge will hold a minute’s applause before their League Two game against Plymouth Argyle to remember kit man Bill Edmans,
Edmans, who served as the Daggers kit manager voluntarily for 30 years, passed away in his sleep last Saturday, aged 87.
And in honour of the service Edmans gave to the club, a minute’s applause will take place before this weekend’s game at Victoria Road, while the players will also wear black armbands.
The funeral details have also been arranged, with a service being held at St Peters and St Paul’s Church in Chingford at 2.15pm next Wednesday, February 26.
From the church the cortège will go on to the City of London Crematorium on Aldersbrook Road, Wanstead for 3:30pm, before a wake to be held at West Essex Golf Club from 4.30pm.
