The former West Ham youngster was brought in on a non-contract basis by manager Wayne Burnett in November, but his opportunities have been limited at Victoria Road and both parties agreed to explore other options.

Edgar failed to make a single league start during his time with the club, though did come off the substitutes bench on seven occasions.

He did feature however in the Daggers’ Essex Senior Cup run, which was ended by AFC Hornchurch at the quarter-final stage earlier this month.
