Fulham’s Dimitar Berbatov makes his first return to to Old Trafford since the end of a four-year stay that polarised opinion amongst the Red Devils faithful.

Sir Alex Ferguson keeps faith with under-fire keeper David de Gea for Manchester United in the FA Cup fourth-round tie.

Ferguson branded the critics of De Gea’s performance at Tottenham last weekend “idiots”, and he is one of five players who keep their places as Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs, Nani and Anderson are all introduced and Robin van Persie is left on the bench.
