Bristol City manager Derek McInnes is confident going into tomorrow’s clash with Crystal Palace.

The Eagles were beaten in dramatic fashion against Watford on Saturday but believes they have what it takes to triumph at Ashton Gate.

“Palace will come here and want to prove themselves as difficult opponents,” McInnes told the club’s official website.

“They don’t concede many goals, it was ultimately a couple of mistakes that lost them the game on Saturday.

“Overall they’re very disciplined, well drilled and a difficult team to play against.

“We must be confident in our work and make sure we get ourselves in front. If we do that I’m confident we will get the three points.

“There should be a lot of optimism going into the first league home game of the season. We have two home games now and we must make a good account of ourselves.”
