Uwe Rösler has announced tonight to a Brentford Independent Association of Supporters fans’ forum that he will sign a full back on a season long loan tomorrow.

The Bees manager kept tight-lipped as to the player’s identity and what club he will come from but the move will come on the eve of their season opener against Walsall at the Banks’s Stadium in the Capital One Cup.

The npower League One side concluded their pre-season campaign on Tuesday with an impressive 4-1 win over Wycombe Wanderers but must wait on August 18 to kick-start their league bid when they make the trip to Bury.
