Gunners legend and Highbury hero Ian Wright is a father again, with wife Nancy giving birth hours before England’s Euro2012 campaign kicked off against France.

Wright - who hosts the station’s Euro 2012 Rock’N’Roll football show - is now the father to six children, plus the adoptive dad of QPR’s Shaun Wright Philips.

Speaking about the birth, Wright said: “It was a long night and a good morning. We called her Roxanne. My other daughter’s called Lola, so my two daughters have ‘call girl’ names. When they grow up they’ll say ‘Dad, why did you call us those names?”’

Wright will be broadcasting daily throughout Euro2012 on Absolute, which has the rights to live commentary on the England and Republic of Ireland group matches together with further stages of the tournament.
