Terry Burton has returned to the Gunners
Arsenal have confirmed that Terry Burton will take become the new reserves and head development coach as part of a shake-up in the backroom staff.
Following Pat Rice’s retirement Steve Bould was promoted to assistant, leaving Burton’s role open.
The 59-year-old, who recently was working at Sheffield Wednesday, will head up Arsenal’s European Under-19 NextGen Series side, along with Liam Brady, head of youth development.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger said: “I have known Terry for many years and he is someone who is hugely respected and highly regarded in the game.
“Terry brings with him a wealth of coaching experience and he will be a great asset for us, working with our reserves and youth development players.”
