Indifferent week for New Cambell.
New Cambell Green led from start to finish of their encounter against local rivals Marshalls in the Essex Met League Division One.
They moved into an 18-6 lead after the first quarter with some excellent work at both ends of the court.
Rochelle Rhodes and Sam Small continued to find the baskets while Ophelia Dunbar made some great flying interceptions as they went on to record a 63-33 win.
But New Cambell Red lost out in the tightest of matches against Salisbury Ladies in their Division Four clash.
The score was level seven apiece at the end of the opening quarter and after good work from Nicola Leversidge and Page Ramsey at the back, Sophie Rollinson and Lauren Doughty put them into a 17-13 lead at half time.
But Salisbury Ladies came back into the encounter in the third quarter and reduced the deficit to just a point at 24-23.
And despite a strong performance from the same duo once again in the final quarter Salisbury took the lead late on in the game and held on for a 32-31 win.
There were three other victories for the club as the Blues, the second team beat Romford 38-36, the fifths held off the challenge of Sapphire B 42-33 and the seventh team won 28-22 against CD Phoenix.
The third team lost out 45-44 to Langdon, while the sixths succumb to OPA B 32-19 and the eight team were defeated by Aeonian 2 51-26.
