Under-13s and under-14s compete in high-class competition in Nottingham.
Essex Open Netball under-13s and 14s put their pre-season training to the test with a tournament in Nottingham.
In a high-class event at the weekend, which always attracts the best clubs in the country, the girls were always going to be up against it.
But they were well prepared after having four weeks of pre-season training at Caterham High School.
The under-14s played Oldham, Poole, Tameside and Turnford in the cup competition to finish in a respectable seventh.
As well as Turnford and Oldham, the under-13s took on Bury and Ribble Valley as well, and finished as runners-up in the plate competition with a ninth place overall for a solid start to the new season.
