Highams club host Wanstead in London Two North East, while Wanderers entertain May & Baker in Essex 1B

Woodford have a London Two North East derby at home to Wanstead to look forward to when they return to action on Saturday.

Like all teams in the division, the Highams club had last weekend off, giving them a chance to rest up.

Woodford will hope the derby with the Herons brings about a change in fortunes, having lost each of their last six in the league.

The clash with Wanstead is the penultimate game of 2017 for the Highams club, who end the calendar year at Old Cooperians the following Saturday.

n Ilford Wanderers go in search of a fourth Essex 1B win in a row when they host May & Baker on Saturday.

Wanderers are joint-top of the standings, with only points difference currently separating them from leaders Kings Cross Steelers.

The clash with May & Baker will be the final home game of 2017 for Ilford, who end the calendar year with a trip to Kings Cross in a hotly anticipated top-of-the-table clash next Saturday.
