Wanstead under-16s claimed bragging rights in emphatic style with a 45-7 triumph over local rivals Eton Manor in Essex Division Two.

Chris Woodroffe scored the game’s opening try, before Andre Eversley crossed for a converted score as the hosts led 12-7 at the break.

In the second half, the hosts cut loose with Luc McNally-Drew, Gabriel Weeden, Eversley, Harry Gibson and Deandre Silcott also crossing for tries.

• Wanstead under-15s were awarded a 39-0 walkover in their Essex Division Two clash at home to Rochford, though still took on the visitors in a friendly.

Arriving with just 12 players, Rochford forfeited the league game, but were able to play thanks to the Herons loaning the visitors some of their own players

Wanstead were able to record a 42-24 success in a game played in good spirits.

Wanstead: Heavey, Robinson, West, Turner, Smith, Noble. Oriaki, Anllo, Jones, Sullivan, Mears, Steel, Castle, Cottrell, Batstone.

Having a brand new kitchen is something that lots of people want but can only dream of. Sadly keeping up to date and making our living spaces as nice as they can be is a costly and incredibly stressful business. Even a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference but isn’t easy or quick.
