Barking director of rugby Dean Cutting knows now is the time his side need to start picking up some points.
Barking director of rugby Dean Cutting feels it is now time for his side to impose themselves on the opposition as they make the short trip to Southend on Saturday.
The Goresbrook outfit fell to an emphatic 85-3 loss to National Two South league leaders Henley Hawks on Saturday, but Cutting believes they now have a run of winnable games in November starting with this weekend.
“In parts we have shown we can play well against the bigger sides, now it is time to impose ourselves and perform for the entire match,” said Cutting, who also revealed the club have set up a partnership with local venue SportHouse.
“We have had all the tests against the top teams in the league, now we have a set of games which we can realistically target points from,” he said.
They go into the match at their Essex rivals without the services of Tom Yellowlees, but welcome wing Stephen Hihetah back to the club after a short spell with Blackheath.
