Motormen eye third win over Aveley on Saturday.

Redbridge could welcome back up to EIGHT players for Saturday’s Ryman North trip to Aveley, and joint boss Ricky Eaton admits they will have a selection headache.

The Motormen recorded a vital 2-1 win over fellow strugglers Heybridge Swifts on Tuesday, minus those players, but Eaton and joint boss Dave Ross now have plenty of food for thought as they go in search of a third win over the Millers this term.

“We had eight absent for the Heybridge game, but all of them are available on Saturday so Dave and I have a real headache with a lot of senior players back now. It will be difficult for us,” said Eaton.

“Hopefully it will be a third win of the season against Aveley, but they are a good side and it depends on what team shows up.

“We know it’s going to be difficult and in the reverse fixture they absolutely battered us, but we won 2-1.

“It wasn’t the best game for us, but we took the points and I would take another win like that on Saturday.”
