Leyton Orient interim head coach Ross Embleton will have to make at least three changes to the team which earned a 2-2 draw with Chester on Tuesday night.

The O’s take on fellow strugglers Torquay United today without Macauley Bonne and Jamie Sendles-White due to suspension.

On top of that, James Brophy was recalled from his loan spell by Swindon Town on Friday to compound the issues for Embleton.

The 36-year-old can at least call upon new loan signing Bondz N’Gala, after he made the switch to Brisbane Road from Dagenham & Redridge on a one-month deal.

N’Gala is expected to start this afternoon and partner Dan Happe in the centre of O’s defence and Brophy’s recall could see Zain Westbrooke or even Josh Koroma come in.

The major issue for Embleton is who replaces 10-goal hitman Bonne after he received his fifth booking of the season on Tuesday.

David Mooney and Matt Harrold came off the bench against Chester with the latter playing 45 minutes as he continues to recover from a calf problem.

Whether Harrold is fit enough to start today remains to be seen, but Embleton is likely to stick with the 4-5-1 formation which has served him well in the last two games.

Another decision for the interim head coach is does he stick with Sam Sargeant after his eventful evening on Tuesday or recall Charlie Grainger after he returned to training on Thursday?

Regardless of the team he picks, Orient could find themselves in the relegation zone before a ball has been kicked at Plainmoor today.

Chester, who occupy the final spot in the bottom four, are three points behind the O’s and play Dagenham in the early 12.30pm kick-off.

A three-goal victory for the Blues could see them leapfrog Orient in the table, but the east Londoners will hope that isn’t the case and they can end their 13-match winless run in the division and move up the table in the process.
