O’s midfielder goes back to Midlands club

Jack Price has departed Brisbane Road again, after his parent club Wolves recalled the midfielder from his loan spell with Leyton Orient.

The 21-year-old initially joined the O’s on a three-month deal at the start of October, but suffered an ankle injury during their 2-0 win against Doncaster Rovers on October 21.

Price received treatment from the Molineux club before returning to Orient prior to their clash with Crewe Alexandra on November 22.

The midfielder made a 10-minute cameo during the 4-1 home win against the Railwaymen, before playing the full 90 minutes in Saturday’s 3-1 loss at Bradford City.

However, with Kenny Jackett’s side struggling and suffering four consecutive Championship defeats during November, Price has been recalled from his loan spell.

He was set to remain with the O’s until January but departs having made five appearances during his time at the club, starting four matches.
