Leyton Orient have completed the signing of former Liverpool and Napoli defender Andrea Dossena until the end of the season.

The 33-year-old left back was signed on a free transfer by Premier League side Sunderland last season after being told by his former Liverpool manager Rafael Bentiez that he would be surplus to requirements at Napoli.

The Italian international had signed a one-year deal, but was not offered a new contract at the Stadium of Light after only playing 11 games for the Black Cats last season.
