Honours finished even once again between Allan Fenn’s Ilford and his former club Clapton.

The two sides had shared six goals at the Old Spotted Dog in front of a whopping 750-plus crowd on Non-League Day last October and there was no separating them again in the return at Cricklefield.

Tons keeper Pape Diagne was called upon to make a couple of impressive saves in the first half to keep the Foxes out, in front of another three-figure crowd, as Ilford remain in sixth place and Clapton close behind in eighth.

Tons assistant manager Andre Thomas tweeted: “Point well earned. Pape was in inspired form & deserved his clean sheet. Think we used up all of the goals at the Old Spotted Dog in the reverse game.”

Fenn’s men are set to visit Basildon United on Tuesday, while Tons are scheduled to travel to Burnham’s Leslie Field for a league cup tie.

*Tower Hamlets ended a four-match losing streak with the points at Southend Manor.

Ade Abayomi’s young side had not tasted victory since their 3-2 home win over Greenhouse on December 14, but they rediscovered the habit at Southchurch Park.

The visitors scored three, before Rhys Fatt grabbed a consolation for Manor.

Hamlets will hope to build on their success when they welcome Hullbridge to Mile End Stadium on Monday.

*London Bari’s derby meeting with Newham fell victim to a waterlogged pitch at the Old Spotted Dog and they will hope for better in midweek with Bowers due to visit on Wednesday.

Sporting Bengal saw their home clash against Waltham Forest suffer a similar fate at Mile End Stadium and their frustrated manager Anwar Uddin tweeted: “Another game called off today that’s our 3rd in a row, I’m starting to miss the @SportingBengal lads #Nomorerain.”

*Title hopefuls Barking were without a fixture, but face a crunch clash with leaders FC Romania at Mayesbrook Park on Tuesday.
