Former Dagger Danny Green could return to Victoria Road with MK Dons with the two sides set to face eachother in a pre-season friendly.

Karl Robinson’s side will face the Daggers on July 22 in a fixture which fills the void left by the Leyton Orient’s decision to cancel their original friendly on July 29 in favour of a date with Premier League side QPR.

And it could mean a return once again of Green, who scored after the midfielder signed a permanent deal with the League One side following his release from Championship outfit Charlton Athletic.

It will be his second time back at the Daggers since his departure to the Addicks in 2011, having featured in a pre-season friendly last year against the then Chris Powell side.

On the day Daggers went down 2-0, with the now 25-year-old playing a part in the opener for Danny Hollands after just six minutes, before Callum Harriott doubled their lead later in the first half.

While with the Victoria Road side, Green played a big role in the promotion to League One in 2010, scoring in the 3-2 play-off final success against Rotherham United.

That now completes the Daggers’ list of pre-season fixtures for the upcoming 2014/15 League Two campaign, which is as follows:

July 5 (a) v Bromley (3pm)

July 8 (a) v Maidstone United (7:45pm)

July 15 (a) v Wealdstone (7.45pm)

July 19 (a) v Ebbsfleet United (3pm)

July 22 (h) v MK Dons (7.45pm)

July 26 (h) v Colchester United (3pm)

July 30 (a) v Billericay Town (7.45pm) *

August 5 (a) v Witham Town (7.45pm) *

* Daggers XI
