Winger Zavon Hines looks set to re-sign for Dagenham & Redbridge.

The 25-year-old was a revelation after signing for the Daggers on a one-year deal at the start of last season, and he went on to score eight goals for Wayne Burnett’s side, while also adding plenty of assists.

But he suffered a season-ending knee injury in a development team friendly for the Daggers back in March which required surgery.

And despite the former West Ham man still continuing his rehabilitation from the injury, it looks like the Daggers are set to offer him a return to Victoria Road after boss Wayne Burnett confirmed at last night’s fans forum that there would be some ‘positive news’ on Hines in the next 24 hours.
