Fleet eased to a 3-1 triumph at Victoria Road on Saturday

Ebbsfleet United manager Daryl McMahon was pleased with his whole side’s performance in their comfortable 3-1 victory against Dagenham & Redbridge on the weekend.

A brace from experienced striker Danny Kedwell and another from defender Chris Bush sealed the three points for Fleet at Victoria Road.

“We performed really well, from the fourth minute I thought we were excellent and probably could have had a bigger score by half-time,” McMahon said.

“In the second half I thought we were good again. In the first 10 minutes Dagenham put a few good balls into the box that we defended well, then we grew into it and ran out comfortable winners. All 11 played really well.”

The 35-year-old was pleased with the first goal coming so early on, adding: “It was a good set-piece, brilliant delivery from Corey (Whitely) and Bushy (Chris Bush) got his one for the season out of the way.”
