Daggers players took to social media after success at Gulls in National League on Saturday

Dagenham & Redbridge players took to Twitter to celebrate their 3-0 win at Torquay United in the National League on Saturday.

A Fejiri Okenabirhie brace and a Craig Robson header saw Daggers cruise to a comfortable triumph at the Gulls as they ended a run of four straight defeats.

Okenabirhie was one of the leading lights in the success and was delighted with how the match panned out, posting: “Two goals and three points.”

Fellow forward Mason Bloomfield, meanwhile, commented: “Different class from the boys today! Three points and a clean sheet.”

The win saw Daggers keeper a first clean sheet since New Year’s Day, much to the delight of defender Luke Pennell.

“Terrific togetherness by all the boys today matched with a great team performance, thanks again to the fans that made the journey!” posted the 22-year-old.

Academy graduate Elliot Bonds came on in the final minute and was delighted to make his debut, posting: “Big win for the boys and happy to have made my debut.”
