Barkingside travel away to mid-table Essex Senior League outfit West Essex as they look to end their six-game losing streak this weekend.

Side will travel to Mayesbrook Park on Saturday (3pm) as they look to get their season back on track after falling to 15th in the table in recent weeks.

Michael Walther’s men go into the match of the back of a 3-2 loss to Clapton after conceding an injury-time winner to Jeffrey Cobblah at the Old Spotted Dog.

The Tons dominated the firs half but it was Barkingside who took a 1-0 lead into the break.

Early in the second half the hosts got back on level terms thanks to Yemi Adelani.

Clapton saw a Steven Sardinha penalty saved, but the hosts were awarded another spot kick and he made no mistake this time.

New signing James Briggs equalised as he curled home a free-kick, against his old club, but Cobblah then struck to ruin Side’s chance of picking up a point.
