Side drew 2-2 at Saffron Walden in league last weekend

Barkingside will hope for a bumper crowd on Saturday with special ticket offers in place for their Peter Butcher Memorial Trophy clash against Hullbridge Sports Reserves.

Admission for Saturday’s cup tie against Sports at Cricklefield Stadium is priced at £3, while all ex-servicemen and women will receive free entry.

Boss Michael Walther will hope the cup clash yields a first win of the season for Barkingside, who collected a morale-boosting result in the Essex Senior League last weekend.

Away to high-flying Saffron Walden Town, Side were able to collect a point in a 2-2 draw.

Both goals for the Cricklefield Stadium club came from Michael Clarke, who was making his debut after joining on loan from Bostik North outfit Romford.

Walther will hope his team can take the positivity of the draw at Saffron Walden into the cup tie as Barkingside look to finally end their long, and rather overdue, wait for a win this term.
