Overseas star Ravi Teja Dwaraka hit a century as Oakfield Parkonians won at Shepherd Neame Essex League Division Two rivals Harlow Town.

Parks captain Dave Rai chose to bat after winning the toss but saw his openers fall cheaply as they slipped to 25-2.

Ubaid Ur Rehman Kiani (40) put on 94 for the third wicket with Dwaraka, who had further support from Paran Kalley (36),

Dwaraka eventually fell for 113 off 131 balls, having hit three sixes and seven fours, but Aman Ali (30) helped lift the total to 273-6 at the end of 50 overs.

Eshun Kalley struck early with the ball in the home side’s reply, with Abdul Razzaq and Dwaraka also having success to leave them 81-3.

Suraj Chauhan held firm for Harlow Town, as Aman Ali ran through the middle order on his way to a five-wicket haul, claiming the scalp of former Parks captain Jibran Azam along the way.

Dwaraka (2-30) struck again before Chauhan eventually fell to Ali (5-41) for 107, off just 93 balls, after hitting six sixes and eight fours.

And Kalley (2-39) completed a 67-run win when claiming the last wicket in the 41st over.
