The London Borough of Redbridge swimmer performed exceptionally well throughout the ‘swim-through’ gala.

In the medley events, Dentith reached both finals, finishing fifth in the 200m individual medley in a time of two minutes 12 seconds and was seventh in the 400m IM in a time of 4.38, which was one second outside of the Olympic Championship time.

Dentith also shaved two seconds off his personal best in the 200m breaststroke, making the final in 2.31.68 – just 0.2 seconds outside of his national qualifying time.

The young swimmer also competed in the 200m butterfly and clocked 2.14 and in the 200m freestyle he clocked a time of 1.59.

In addition to these individual swims, Dentith also completed two relay events, who competed commendably against the best Spanish teams.
