Gator ABC continued their winning streak as three of their boxers won semi-final bouts in the National Championships at the TA Centre in Grove Park, Lewisham.

Javir Sanger produced a stunning display of defensive skills and accurate punches to outpoint M. McGovern of London Military and reach this weekend’s finals at the same venue, while Jamal Berleen beat Kemsing’s T. Libretto.

Berleen landed better shots against an experienced rival to get the verdict, while Jack Caward comprehensively defeated T. Heartwell (Heart of Devon).

There was frustration for Gator’s Rajan Batchu, though, as he lost a close decision to T. Turner of Exeter Warriors.

*Gator celebrated three more wins at the Strood club show in Kent on Friday.

Chris O’Driscoll showed slick skills to outpoint A. Watts from the host club, while Kaizer Zyed worked his jab to perfection to outpoint S. Jones (Hersdon).

And completing the hat-trick was senior Charlie Green who put in a powerful performance against Strood’s J. Carr.
