Ilford Athletic Club held it’s pre-Christmas relay at Cricklefield Stadium, with nine teams tackling 19 laps of the track.

Declan Cullen, Steve Parker and Matthew Hick won in 27 minutes 47 seconds, ahead of juniors Ellie Wright, Isabella Hick, Ayshah Lawrence and Jack Haliil.

And Aaron Samuel, Arnie Harrison and Doris Gaga took third place, with each runner having to run at least three laps, before the last leg saw all team members running together.

Bradley Deacon, Carlie Qirem and Sharon Honey took the consolation prize as last team home.
