Redbridge Bikeathon
HUNDREDS of youngsters got on their bikes for charity on Sunday when they took part in the Redbridge Bikeathon.
Children from schools all over the borough and beyond pedalled around Melbourne Field, Valentines Park, Ilford, for the Recorder sponsored event held annually in aid of Leukaemia Research.
Redbridge Mayor Loraine Sladden launched the event as proud families watched and after the children completed their laps there was plenty of fun to be had on the sideshows around the field.
