A 21-year-old has found fame online by hiding in tourist attractions overnight and posting videos of his escapades to YouTube.

Uosof Ahmadi was inspired by the “24-hour overnight challenge” where participants film themselves exploring popular tourist attractions after hours and evading capture.

His latest video sparked a security investigation after he successfully hid overnight with a friend in a toilet the Old Trafford stadium in Manchester, ahead of the Premier League game against Arsenal.

The 21-year-old lives in the borough but doesn’t reveal his location online.

He said: “There are a fair amount of weirdoes online and I have been getting a few death threats.”

His adventure in Manchester is the latest in a long line of challenges filmed in a variety of public buildings by Uosof, including McDonald’s, a cinema and M&M’s World in Leicester Square.

He said: “The places we choose to hide in are really down to the supporters.

“We get thousands of suggestions and we decide the location based on the requests.

“We then pack a bag of snacks with two bottles of water and a laptop for our entertainment.

“To keep my phone going during our overnight stay, I bring a battery pack to charge our devices.”

Uosof started posting videos in 2011 after friends wanted to see his performance at a school reunion.

He said: “Entertainment has always been a passion of mine, whether it is dancing, acting or music.”

His videos regularly receive more than one million views but Uosof plans to pursue a career outside of YouTube.

He said: “I currently study biomedical sciences and If I’m being honest it is really difficult balancing the two as YouTube is a 24-hour thing, therefore you can never fully get your mind off of it.

“Sometimes I sit in my lectures daydreaming because I’m so exhausted from filming the night before, but I know I’ll get through it.

“I have always wanted to study medicine and now that I may be pursuing that, I wonder a lot if I would be able to balance the three of them.”
