Property developers Galliard Homes, which is selling apartments in Woodford Green, is giving away £35,000 of freebies to buyers in a bid to get the luxury pads sold.

Potential buyers of the Highbeam House apartments in High Road, which go for at least £750,000 each, will receive £10,000 of furniture and £25,000 of service charge fees taken care of as part of a “move in tomorrow” scheme.

New homeowners will be able to pick out everything from sofas and curtains at the two and three bedroom properties designed for people down-sizing in the luxury homes market.

Galliard sales director David Galman, 51, of Buckhurst Hill, said: “We have just released the final phase of apartments for sale and a purchaser could move in immediately as the homes are build complete and ready for occupation.

“Our ‘smooth move’ package effectively saves a purchaser up to £35,000 off the cost of their apartment, and the furniture pack is ideal for someone looking at one of the properties as a rental investment too.”

The company’s service charge giveaway covers residents for five years and includes everything from garden landscaping and site maintenance.

“It’s a very nice, attractive development and we’re just sticking on some incentive to get them sold, there’s quite a bit of competition locally and we need to be a cut above the rest.”

The development was completed a year ago and 10 of the luxury properties have been sold.

Mr Galman added: “The apartments definitely add to the area because the old properties that were there before had gone into a state of ruin and I think it will be well received locally.”
