A children’s hospice has received more than a quarter of a million pounds to increase their music therapy and toy loan service.
Haven House Children’s Hospice in High Road, Woodford Green received the grant from the Big Lottery Fund totalling £281,932.
The money was given after a successful bid to improve the non-clinical services for seriously ill children.
Mike Palfreman, chief executive of the hospice, said: “This generous grant from the Big Lottery Fund will enable us to dramatically improve the lives of life-limited children across our catchment area.”
