Anita Kaur Swali, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene by the London Ambulance Service after they were called at 4.17pm to reports of a person on the tracks.

She was from the Seven Kings area.

The service sent an ambulance crew, a single responder in a car and a duty officer to the station, with an air ambulance also seen to stop outside the Palmer Catholic Academy, of Aldborough Road South.

A spokesman for the British Transport Police, who attended with Redbridge police officers, said Ms Swali’s death is not currently being treated as suspicious.

An inquest was opened and adjourned yesterday.
