A TV star has urged her fans to do some good this Christmas and back a hospice’s festive appeal.

Former Towie star Sam Faiers visited Haven House Children’s Hospice in High Road, Woodford Green this week and described the hospice as a “brilliant” charity.

She said: “Haven House is a brilliant charity and I hope everyone can make a donation to the Christmas appeal.

“The staff do such an amazing job and when you hear a story like Keeley’s, it makes you realise why it’s so important to support local children’s hospices.”

Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of Haven House, said: “Sam is an incredible supporter of our hospice and has done so much for us in the past year.

“She opened our new charity shop in Romford during the summer and is now helping to raise awareness of our vitally important Christmas appeal.

“In order for us to continue to support families such as Keeley and Logan, we really need the public to dig deep this festival season and make a donation to our charity.”
