There are delays on Greater Anglia and a limited service on the central line as the second day of the Tube strike gets underway.
There is a Central Line service between Holborn and Epping every seven minutes but no service on the rest of the line.
Due to overrunning engineering work at Maryland, there are delays from Ilford and Seven Kings station.
Darren Guy on Twitter said he waited 40 minutes for a train at Seven Kings and Brad Downes said that his train took 20 minutes to get to Manor Park.
The RMT and TSSA unions walked out at 9.30pm on Tuesday reducing the network to a skeleton service.
Talks broke down with Transport for London (TfL) over controversial plans to axe hundreds of ticket office staff.
Under the plans, every office in Redbridge would be closed as part of TfL’s plans to save £40 million a year.
Mayor of London Boris Johnson accused strikers of “holding a gun to [Londoners’] heads”.
But the unions said it was needed to try and save ticket offices and protect 750 jobs, although TfL said it would avoid compulsory redundancies.
RMT general secretary Bob Crow called the plans “a kick in the teeth” for long-serving staff.
