Transport updates: Delays and disruption to road and rail services.

Updates on disruption to roads and train services:

6.50pm: TRAINS - Due to points failure at Shenfied trains travelling into London may be subject to delays of up to 10 minutes.

6.48pm: ROADS - M11 Essex - M11 partially blocked southbound around junction 5, A1168 Loughton, because of an overturned vehicle.

5.05pm: TRAINS - Greater Anglia has said there may be disruption to all services travelling in and out of the station.

This may include delays cancellations and changes to scheduled station stops.

Liverpool Street Station was evacuated at about 4.50 this afternoon after a fire alarm sounded. The station had reopened shortly after 5pm and services should be returning to their scheduled running times.
